Below is an image of a new Joy-Con that appears to be for the Nintendo Switch 2, posted on Baidu Tieba. The side that connects to the Nintendo Switch 2 console has the same 'SL' and 'SR' buttons as the conventional Joy-Con, and you can see that the size of the buttons is quite large. Several other elements have been added, and game media Eurogamer.net points out that 'it has a magnetic attachment' and 'it may be equipped with something like an optical sensor like a mouse.'
The back looks like this, with buttons added to the sides of the 'ZL' and 'ZR' buttons.

Eurogamer.net pointed out, 'If this image is not a fake and is an image of something made in the Chinese factory that actually makes the Nintendo Switch 2, it seems increasingly likely that Nintendo will announce the Nintendo Switch 2 by March 31, 2025, the deadline that Nintendo has imposed on itself (Nintendo's president has stated that the successor to the Nintendo Switch will be announced in fiscal 2024).'
