This is what the Raspberry Pi Touch Display 2 looks like. The display resolution is 1280 x 720 pixels and supports five-finger multi-touch.

In addition to the main unit, screws, data cable, and power cable are included.

The back side can be fitted with a Raspberry Pi series, and power is supplied from the Raspberry Pi. Compatible models are all models from Raspberry Pi 1B+ onwards, excluding the Raspberry Pi Zero series.

The latest Raspberry Pi OS includes a driver for the Raspberry Pi Touch Display 2, which allows you to operate it using the on-screen keyboard. This allows you to create a tablet-like device without needing to connect a mouse or keyboard.

The Raspberry Pi Touch Display 2 is already on sale for $60 (about 9,100 yen). The GIGAZINE editorial department also received a sample from the Raspberry Pi development team, so we will publish a review article on how to actually use it at a later date.
