The Nintendo Sound Clock Alarmo looks like this: The date, day of the week, and time are displayed on the display, and the set alarm time is displayed under the lying Mario.

When the alarm time came, Nintendo game music would start playing and an image of the associated game would flash on the display.

Not only does it play game music, but it also detects the body movements of the person sleeping and plays sounds such as coins being picked up and blocks being hit.

When music from

Splatoon 3 plays, sound effects from related games are played in sync with the sleeper's body movements, such as the sound of ink being fired, which is interspersed throughout the game.

In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the sound of picking up a rupee is a tinkling sound.

When I got out of bed, a fanfare played from the Nintendo Sound Clock Alarmo and the alarm stopped automatically.

If you don't get out of bed 20 minutes after the alarm time, the alarm will become louder.

The Nintendo Sound Clock Alarmo can be used to set alarm sounds for five titles:

Super Mario Odyssey , Pikmin 4 , Splatoon 3, Ring Fit Adventure , and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, with seven songs from each title. Songs can be selected by twisting the light on the top of the device.

Additional alarm songs will be added free of charge, including songs from '

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe ' and ' Animal Crossing: New Horizons .'

There is also a 'good night sound' that plays when you get into bed.

'Movement Record' records your body movements while you sleep.

It has a variety of functions, including a 'time signal' feature where a character tells you the time.

Nintendo's popular Developer Interviews feature also featured the Nintendo Sound Clock Alarmo, revealing that Alarmo's producer is Tamori, who worked as a designer on Splatoon and Nintendo Labo, and its director is Akama, who was involved in hardware design such as the Joy-Con Grip and Joy-Con Handle.
