However, this time, a permanent license will be sold as 'Office 2024.' This will be the first time that a permanent license for an Office product has been released since Office 2021 .

Office 2024 is available in two versions: 'Office Home 2024' and 'Office Home & Business 2024'. Office Home 2024 includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote, while Office Home & Business 2024 includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Outlook. Both can be installed on up to two computers and are also available for commercial use.
Additionally, Word and Excel now allow you to insert images directly from your Android device, support for OpenDocument Format (ODF) 1.4, the ability to create dynamic charts using dynamic arrays , new text and array functions , and a new IMAGE function that lets you retrieve images from the web.
In addition, Word's file recovery function has been improved.
PowerPoint now lets you insert a live camera feed into a slide, as well as add closed captions or subtitles to video and audio in your slides.
Outlook 2024, which is only available with Office Home & Business 2024, has an improved search function that allows you to get more relevant results for messages, attachments, contacts, and calendar entries. In addition, the macOS version also allows you to customize left and right swipe gestures.
