According to Meta, to use Meta Quest HDMI Link, a third-party UVC/UAC compliant capture card and associated cable are required. In other words, by connecting an external capture card to Meta Quest, you can display the video of the connected device in the Meta Quest space using the ' Theater View ' installed in the Meta Quest v67 software update.

According to Meta, the hardware setup for Meta Quest HDMI Link is as simple as 'plugging the cable into Meta Quest.' However, the software setup itself is not as easy as Air Link, so at the time of writing, the Meta Quest HDMI Link app has been released on App Lab , which distributes apps currently in development and experimental.
