A review of the appearance of Siroca's fully automatic coffee maker 'Cafebako PRO' that makes coffee from beans with the push of a button

The ' Cafebako PRO ' offered by the home appliance manufacturer Siroca is a coffee maker that automatically brews the amount of coffee you want to drink when you want to drink it, just by setting the beans and water and pressing a button. I was able to borrow the actual Cafebako PRO, so I first took a good look at its appearance.

The Cafebako PRO packaging looks like this.

The contents include the Cafebako PRO main unit, server, and instruction manual.

The front view of the device. It is 16.6cm wide x 42.1cm high.

The operation and display section looks like this.

Beneath the operation and display unit is a basket for attaching coffee filters, which can be pulled out as shown below.

There is a basket ring on the inside of the basket to hold the filter in place.

Below the basket is a 'direct mug switch bar' that allows you to switch between receiving the brewed coffee in a mug or a server.

The hot water outlet that pours hot water into the basket looks like this.

The hot water outlet can be removed from the main unit.

The top of the Cafebako PRO looks like this. The round part is the hopper for grinding the coffee beans, and the lid has a dial for adjusting the grind size.

The lid has been removed.

A cleaning brush is attached to the underside of the lid.

The grind adjustment dial is removable and underneath it there is a mill for grinding the beans.

There is a metal handle on the top of the mill that can be removed by pulling it.

The blades inside the mill are cone-shaped and designed to generate less frictional heat during grinding, which helps preserve the flavor and aroma.

There is a steam outlet on the rear right side of the hopper.

Left side when facing the front of the unit. Depth is 27.2cm.

The right side looks like this.

The power cable extends from the bottom of the back. Power consumption is 700W.

The water tank is at the rear.

It can make about 6 cups of coffee in a 120ml coffee cup, or about 4 cups in a 180ml mug.

Depending on the model, the server that comes with the Cafebako PRO is made of glass or stainless steel. The model I was able to borrow this time was the one that came with a stainless steel server.

The inside of the server is shown with the lid removed. The server has a double vacuum structure, which keeps the coffee warm. The coffee is kept warm without being heated by a heater, so the coffee won't boil over.

In the next article, I plan to summarize how to actually brew coffee from beans using Cafebako PRO, so please look forward to it.

Siroca's Cafe Box PRO is available on Amazon.co.jp and can be purchased for 29,700 yen including tax.
