Technology media Engadget notes that 'live streaming from X's integrated encoder' refers to the game streaming feature that X released in partnership with Streamlabs . The following video shows Musk streaming Diablo IV gameplay using X's game streaming function.

Engadget points out that 'Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok all offer live streaming for free, making X the only major social platform to offer the feature for a fee.' 'It's rare for a company to charge for a feature that's already available to everyone.'
There are other signs that Musk-owned Facebook is looking to charge for other, more simple features, and the company already charges $1 a year for new accounts with posting privileges in New Zealand and the Philippines.
