According to Spotify, US-based Spotify subscribers will soon start receiving emails about the price increase. The price revision will see the Premium (Standard) plan increase from $10.99 (about 1720 yen) to $11.99 (about 1870 yen) per month, the Premium (Duo) plan increase from $14.99 (about 2340 yen) to $16.99 (about 2660 yen), and the Premium (Family) plan increase from $16.99 to $19.99 (about 3130 yen).

In Japan, Premium (Standard) is offered for 980 yen per month, Premium (Duo) for 1,280 yen, and Premium (Family) for 1,580 yen, and are not included in the price increase. Spotify also raised its prices in a wide range of regions in July 2023, but Japan was also excluded at that time. Japan offers its services at a very low price compared to other countries around the world.
