The true identity of Satoshi Nakamoto is still unknown, but an account claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto suddenly posted on X (formerly Twitter) and it became a hot topic. Motherboard, an IT news site, is verifying whether this account claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto is genuine.

In the above post, X's community notes feature states, ``This account is not Satoshi Nakamoto, the inventor of Bitcoin.This is an account associated with Craig Wright, which claims to be Satoshi Nakamoto without any evidence. 'We are doing so' is added.
Also on October 4th, ``Bitcoin was created for everyone. The next halving is an important and predicted event that will mean transaction fees will replace mining subsidies.'' @Dr_CSWright is the account of Craig Wright, a self-proclaimed businessman living in Australia.
Mr. Wright has been claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto since around 2018, and has filed a lawsuit against the developer seeking access to the virtual currency and rewriting the code. Although it has not been clearly denied whether Mr. Wright is Satoshi Nakamoto, many people involved in virtual currency have pointed out that ``Mr. Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto.''

nChain did not respond to Motherboard's request for comment. Motherboard said, ``@satoshi is using a credit card to register for paid verification with X. I can't believe that the real Satoshi Nakamoto would simply register his credit card with X to receive verification.'' states.
