Mr. Wright announced in 2016 that he was Satoshi Nakamoto.

In 2022, he sued for defamation against a person who claimed that ``Mr. Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto'' and won.
However, in this case, the defendant, Bitcoin expert Peter McCormack, is a person with great influence in the virtual currency industry, and his words and actions could cause damage to Mr. Wright. It was determined that there was, and there was no issue as to whether Mr. Wright was Satoshi Nakamoto.

The High Court's judgment in February 2024 was handed down, with Chief Justice Mellor stating, ``Mr. Wright is not the author of the Bitcoin white paper,'' and ``Mr. ``Mr. Wright is not the inventor of the Bitcoin system'' and ``Mr. Wright was not the developer of the initial version of the Bitcoin software.''・I made it clear that I was not Nakamoto.
In response to the ruling, a COPA spokesperson said: 'This decision is a victory for developers, the entire open source community, and the truth. For over eight years, Mr. Wright and his financial backers have been known as 'Satoshi Nakamoto.' has lied about his identity and used those lies to bully and intimidate developers in the Bitcoin community. It all ends with a court ruling that Mr. Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto.'
In response to the ruling, businessman Calvin Ayer, who is known as Wright's supporter, said, ``Cool. Legally, Craig is not Satoshi.'' ``Let me be clear: Craig is the person who invented Bitcoin.'' 'Tomorrow, I will continue to be the person who invented Bitcoin. History will not change, and Bitcoin will not change either,' he continues to support Mr. Wright.

To be clear. Craig invented Bitcoin yesterday and he will still be the guy who invented Bitcoin tomorrow. History does not change. Bitcoin also does not change. Also, Craig funded himself as he pointed out under oath. This has no direct affect on me , I still invest in the…
