This is the BC500 package.
The contents are BC500 main unit, quick installation guide, seal for wall installation, connector cap cover, screw, anchor.
The BC500 has a structure in which the camera and pedestal are connected by a joint, and a short cable extends from the pedestal. The actual size of the camera part is about 7.5 cm in length and width, and 11 cm in depth. The maximum size including the pedestal is 16cm.
The front of the main unit is equipped with an automatic detachable infrared cut filter like this. The lens type is single focus, the viewing angle is 110°H, 56°V, 132°D, and the aperture is F1.8. The red frame on the top left is the microphone, the top right is the status indicator, and the bottom is the IR night vision sensor. The operating temperature is -30 degrees to 40 degrees when IR is on, and -30 degrees to 50 degrees when IR is off. Waterproof equivalent to IP67.
There is nothing in particular on the top.
There is no particular printing on the right side.
The serial number etc. are printed on the bottom.
Screwed on the bottom is the cover of the microSD card slot.
Remove the cover to reveal the slot. The round hole to the right of the slot is the reset button.
The joint part is made of metal. It is designed to rotate the main body 360 degrees.
It is also possible to bend the neck 90 degrees vertically.
The bottom of the pedestal looks like this. There are 3 screw holes.
There is only one hole on the side of the pedestal, and the cord can be pulled out from this hole.
The cord is a little over 30cm by actual measurement.
The tip branches into a DC power adapter (12V/1A Ø2.1mm) and IEEE 802.3af Type 1 Class 3 PoE compatible 10/100Mbps Ethernet adapter. Codes for these are not supplied with the product and must be procured by yourself.
In the review scheduled to be posted at a later date, I will write an article about the installation of the BC500 and the actual use of it. Please look forward to what the performance of Synology's surveillance camera is.
