What kind of thing is Yamazen's 'water-cooled clothes DIRECT COOL' that can make your body Hiehie by putting a frozen plastic bottle in it?

As a countermeasure against heatstroke in work environments where it is not possible to wear thin clothing, various work clothes that control air conditioning by attaching fans to clothes are coming out. However, although this type of work clothes is definitely cool, it has weaknesses such as 'the clothes will swell because the fan takes in the wind' and 'the smell and dust around you will be sucked in'. Yamazen's ' Water-cooled clothing DIRECT COOL ' solves this problem by water-cooling, so I borrowed the real thing to see what kind of mechanism could cool the body.

◆ Water-cooling suit/appearance
There are two types of 'Water Cooling Suit DIRECT COOL', professional specification (DC-B02S) and general specification (DC-B01S). The difference is the battery capacity and the thickness of the coolant. This time we will use the standard model.

The contents look like this. Comes with water cooling suit body, instruction manual, and battery.

At first glance, it looks like a small rucksack used for trail running.

However, there is a pipe on the side that touches the back, and you can see that it is not just a backpack.

This pipe passes through the inside of the shoulder strap and also extends from the shoulder to the chest.

Turning over the cover that seemed to have the largest access opening to the storage part, there is a circular lid.

This is the cap of the tank, and the circulating water for cooling and the PET bottle are put inside.

When I opened the zipper on the top, I could see the top of the tank. This is used to remove or install the tank during maintenance. It seems difficult to store other luggage.

There is a pump when you open the zipper at the bottom. This is also for maintenance.

Apart from the water pipe, the left shoulder strap has a cable running through it. This is for the battery to move the pump that circulates the water.

The battery comes with a USB cable.

The appearance of the battery looks like this.

There are a power switch, two USB ports, indicators, etc. on the top. In addition, the USB Micro-B port is for charging, and the USB A port can be used to power the smartphone.

The other thing is a simple structure with only a power port that inserts a cable via a shoulder strap.

◆ Preparation for use
First, connect the charged battery to the cable and store it in your chest pocket.

Fill the tank with 150ml of water. Since this water will circulate in the pipe, the effect will last longer if cold water is added.

Then put the plastic bottle into the tank. Available in sizes up to 600ml. A frozen water bottle is better to cool the circulating water.

Ready to use.

After that, it is OK if you wear it. The front covers the chest like this.

When viewed from behind, it gives the impression of carrying an ordinary small rucksack.

Side view. Since I only carry one plastic bottle on my back, the bulge is not noticeable.

Next, let's actually move it and use it.
