I tried using 'Population.io' which can understand the length of my life in one shot compared to the world
The world population at the time of writing the article exceeds 7.8 billion, but it is difficult to know exactly what generation and how much population is in which region. ' Population.io ' is a site that visually summarizes information about such a world population, and if you enter the date of birth, it will show the number of people with the same birthday and the difference in life span by region. If you access Population.io from the link above, you will be asked to enter your date of birth, country of residence, and gender. This time, I entered it as a woman who was born on April 1, 2000 and lives in Japan, and clicked 'go'.
After setting your date of birth and gender, scroll down to see various information. At the top, there was information that there were 2,839,484,930 younger people and 5,564,69,817 older people in the world.
Click 'Japan' to see the results when the above data is narrowed down to Japan only. In Japan, there are 23,248,539 younger people and 180,502,503 older people. Looking at the world as a whole, older people are less than twice as young as younger, but when limited to Japan, older people are more than four times as young as younger, indicating that Japan's birthrate is declining and the population is aging.
Scroll down to see your remaining life, this time calculated from your average life. A woman born in Japan on April 1, 2020 will be able to live for 73.1 years until April 13, 2095.
You can compare the lifespan of other countries by entering the country name in the upper left input field. When I tried typing 'United States', it was displayed that I could live for the remaining 66.1 years because the average life expectancy in the United States is shorter than in Japan.
The following shows how many people around the world have the same date of birth as you. There are 3177 people born on April 1, 2000 in Japan.
Other countries can also be confirmed. For example, there are 68,227 people born on April 1, 2000 in India.
At the bottom, you can see how long you can live in your country compared to the average life expectancy in the world. If you live in Japan, you can live 4518 days longer than the world average.
You can also view the transition of death risk by clicking 'Chances of Dying'. In Japan, people of all ages can live at a lower risk of death than the world average.
