'Qrio Pad' photo review that turns the door of the house into a smart lock with full wireless

When I finally finished the day after work or school, I tried to open the door of my house, and when I accidentally misplaced the key or inserted a key such as a motorcycle, I was frustrated because I couldn't open the front door. Therefore, if you use the battery-powered smart lock ' Qrio Pad ' that does not require construction, and the 'Qrio Lock ' that you attach to your home thumb turn, you can unlock it with a smartphone app, card key, or PIN, or just approach the door. It can be unlocked, making it stress-free. I received such 'Qrio Pad' and 'Qrio Lock', so I took pictures to see what kind of device it was.

The Qrio Pad (left) and Qrio Lock (right) were in a box like this.

First from Qrio Pad. The Qrio Pad, which is attached to the outside of the door and used to unlock it, measures 160.5 mm in height x 56 mm in width x 44.1 mm in depth and weighs 197 g without batteries.

At the bottom of the front of the Qrio Pad is a button with a built-in sensor for unlocking with a card key.

When viewed from the right side, you can see that it is angled so that it is easy to operate from diagonally above. There are no buttons or switches on the side.

A mounting bracket with adhesive tape was attached to the back.

The contents other than the Qrio Pad body are two

Panasonic lithium batteries CR-123A for cameras.

Start guide.

Qrio Card is a card key used for unlocking.

It was stated on the back of the Qrio Card that it had a built-in IC chip.

The Qrio Card is the same size as a transportation IC card, so you can carry it in your wallet with other cards.

Next, let's take a look at the Qrio Lock that attaches to the thumb turn inside the door.

The size is 115.5mm in height x 57mm in width x 77mm in depth and weighs 207g. There is a knob on the front.

The right side looks like this. When viewed from the side, you can see that the knob is connected to the part that holds the thumb turn surrounded by the red frame, and you can turn the thumb turn by twisting the knob.

A protective tape is attached to the part that holds the thumb turn.

Then, you can now slide the part that holds the thumb turn. Since the center of rotation differs depending on the thumb turn, it is possible to rotate various types of thumb turns by moving this part.

On the back, there is an adhesive surface for mounting on the door with double-sided tape.

The contents other than the Qrio Lock body are the same two rechargeable batteries as the Qrio Pad.

Start guide.

Two double-sided tapes for attaching the main body.

An open / close sensor that is attached to the door frame to detect the open / closed state of the door.

Double-sided tape for open / close sensor.

Large (left) and small (right) height adjustment plates on the body.

There are 4 long (left) and 4 short (right) fixing screws for the height adjustment plate.

S (left), M (center), L (right) of the thumb turn holder that is used properly according to the size of the thumb turn.

The height adjustment plate is used by attaching it to the back of the main unit in case the thumb turn is too high to install the main unit. You can use either large or small, or both at the same time.

The height of the large height adjustment plate is about 21 mm, and the small height is about 13 mm, so the total height can be adjusted by 33 mm.

The thumb turn holder is attached by inserting the claw on the main body.

It looks like this when installed.

In the following articles , we will actually install the Qrio Pad at the entrance and prepare the smartphone application.
