I tried to introduce a plug-in 'win-capture-audio' that enables audio on / off and volume adjustment for each application on the distribution software 'OBS'

With the advent of OBS , a distribution software developed by open source, anyone can easily perform live distribution. On OBS, the volume is adjusted for each audio output device and audio input device, but when capturing audio from multiple sources at the same time, the sound is played on the same sound device, so it is grouped together with desktop audio. It can be difficult to turn the volume on and off and adjust the volume for each app. In such a case, if you install 'win-capture-audio ' which is a plug-in for OBS, you can adjust the volume for each application instead of the sound device, which is useful for people who want to create live distribution and live video.

Go to the above page and click 'go to Download'.

You will be taken to

the release page on GitHub. Click 'win-capture-audio-2.1.0-beta-setup.exe' in Assets to download. The file size is 1.98MB.

Double-click the downloaded EXE file to launch the installer.

You will be asked to agree to the license, so select 'I accept the agreement' and click 'Next'.

Click 'Next'.

If you have OBS installed, a pop-up will appear. Select 'Yes'.

Click 'Next'.

Click 'Install' to start the installation.

Click 'Finish' when the installation is complete.

Start OBS, right-click in the source window and select 'Add'. 'Application Audio Output Capture' has been added, so click it.

Click OK.

The property looks like this.

When you click the window, the application running on your PC will appear as a pull-down menu. This time

, select the VLC player playing BGM and click 'OK'.

By default, the name of the source is 'Application Audio Output Capture', so if you right-click and change the name with 'Rename', you can tell which app is supported.

While actually running the browser game on Edge, playing music on VLC player, and playing the

movie on MPC-BE , it looks like this. All three apps output music to the same sound device, but now you can manage the audio for each app on OBS.
