The lower row is a standard product released in 2020, from the left, 'Pon de Chocolat' (130 yen without tax), 'Pon de Double Chocolat' (140 yen without tax), 'Pon de Zaku Chocolat' (160 yen excluding tax).

The first appearance in 2021 is 'Adult Pon de Chocolat'.

'Adult Pon de Chocolat Grilled Chocolate Bitter' is a product of Pon de Chocolat topped with bitter chocolate cream and candy almonds.

The dough of Pon de Ring has a hazelnut flavor as a secret ingredient, and the chocolate-like 'sweetness' is uri, but the bitter chocolate cream has a slightly stronger bitterness. Thanks to this, the sweetness of the dough and the canned almonds stands out.

The chewy dough that is familiar in the Pon de Ring series is overlaid with canned almonds that are even more crispy and firm by coating the surface, and the texture is also very rich. It's perfect for spending a relaxing afternoon with coffee or cafe au lait.

'Adult Pon de Chocolat Bitter Caramel' is topped with caramel sauce and candy almonds.

The sauce has a high viscosity reminiscent of mitarashi dango, and I completely peeled off the vinyl on the surface for shooting, but it was difficult to stick to the bag because of that. It is better to peel off only the part to be eaten.

The caramel sauce has a slightly bitter taste, but it is a little sweeter than the 'baked chocolate bitter'. If you like thick sauces like mitarashi dango, you'll love this too.

'Adult Pon de Chocolat Grilled Chocolate Bitter' and 'Adult Pon de Chocolat Bitter Caramel' will be on sale until the end of February 2022 along with the other three Pon de Ring products.
