On November 15, 2021, Microsoft's Technology Forum announced 'Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL: Buy Now, Pay Later)' as a new feature in Microsoft Edge. Microsoft Edge's BNPL allows shoppers to pay their purchases in equal installments and, in many cases, interest-free installments.

Normally, the BNPL function is only available on some e-commerce sites such as Target and Wal-Mart, but Microsoft has partnered with Zip, a third-party payment service, to use BNPL on any site with Microsoft Edge. It provides the option of 'become'.
