I tried using 'Metallic Deco Pen' which is too epoch-making to be stamped as it is when drawing an illustration
In order to easily stamp the foil without relying on the printing shop, there

This is the metallic deco pen package.
When I open the box, it looks like this.
It contains a metallic deco pen body, 6 colors of metallic foil, 4 types of pen tips, a replacement spring, and a pen stand.
Inside, the metallic deco pen body is a 5V / 2W USB power supply type, and you can use it by connecting it to a mobile battery or PC, or by preparing a separate adapter and connecting it to an outlet. The length of the cord was actually about 123 cm.
The metallic deco pen body has a total length of 12 cm, and it looks like this when you hold it in your hand. It's a little shorter than a general ballpoint pen.
Seen from the side, it looks like this. There is a rubber non-slip on the front.
The metallic foil is a set of 6 colors of green, copper, red, gold, blue and silver, all 4 cm wide x 5 m long.
I will use it immediately according to the paper on which the usage is written.
First, set up the stand.
When I connected the connector to the USB port of the PC and turned on the switch, the light of the pen tip turned red. If you wait 3 to 5 minutes in this state, the pen tip will be heated to 170 to 180 degrees.
Place the metallic foil on the paper you want to stamp. The metallic foil is not sticky, so it is better to stick it with tape so that it does not shift.
After that, I will write what I like on the metallic foil using a well-heated metallic deco pen.
The foil and the paper that you traced with the pen with heat adhere to each other ...
When I peeled it off, I could write the characters as follows. Before using it, I was wondering 'Is it necessary to put some effort into it?' .. Also, there is no part where the foil is not pressed, and it is a pretty good point that you can write stably according to the thickness of the pen. It is an item that can be stamped like writing with a pencil or pen.
When I was writing directly on the metallic foil, I was asked, 'But this is a problem because I can't draft it ...?', But in that case, it's OK to use
If you peel it off after tracing it ...
I was able to stamp it firmly.
You can see how a metallic girl is actually drawn using a metallic deco pen from the following.
Cooking paper is generally used as a substitute for tracing paper, so when I tried using cooking paper, I couldn't stamp it well as shown below. Since the metallic deco pen is stamped with heat, it seems that it cannot be stamped well if a thick material or a material that does not easily pass heat is caught between the pen tip and the metallic foil. When I actually tried it several times, I got the impression that it was possible to bond the foil with a firm line without sandwiching the tracing paper. However, there is a preference for the finish of the line, so if you prefer a thinner line, you may get closer to the desired finish by sandwiching the tracing paper.
Another point of the metallic deco pen is that you can use multiple shades of metallic foil in layers. On top of stamping with silver metallic foil as shown below ...
Paste the gold metallic foil.
If you trace it with the pen tip ...
With this kind of feeling, it is possible to stamp with multiple colors.
Since the work proceeds without being able to confirm what you are drawing, if the tracing paper is slightly misaligned, the foil itself will also be misaligned. There seems to be no choice but to get the hang of it while trying several times around here.
The metallic deco pen comes with 4 types of nibs and a replacement spring.
Each of the four nibs has a different thickness.
When replacing, lightly push the thin side of the spring into the pen tip ...
If you turn it to the left, you can take it without using any force. The spring allows you to easily replace the pen tip even if it is hot during work.
I actually wrote letters with four nibs. You can write thickly or delicately, so it's nice to have variations in touch.
The metallic deco pen set is 4378 yen including tax and can be purchased from the following. At the time of writing the article, it is out of stock due to its popularity, and it is said that it will arrive 2-3 months in advance.
