Synopsis
Kiyu, who had just got a job at the town gas company 'Hoshimi Seikatsu Kensetsu Co., Ltd.', was wandering around in a quote with a customer of Kowamoto. Kiyu, who signed the contract for the first time with the help of a senior who accompanied him, feels the significance of his work while being wrapped in joy.

When I first read the first episode, I was able to put it as it was, but it was also a fact that I was skeptical that 'Is it possible to continue to produce more than one volume with this glue?' Therefore, as an issue for the subsequent examination, I was asked to come up with a story about 'what kind of profession material to handle', but as a result, in addition to being sent a lot of ideas and plans, each plot is also a profession material. I was relieved because I could see a clear intention to add the fun of the story itself while keeping the core as the core. Overall, it takes a step further to make it a 'grand prize', but it seems like it's something to stop at 'winning', and this is accepted by GIGAZINE readers properly. So what? Because I feel the possibility, I decided to go up one level to the 'Silver Award'. I'm very happy to see this kind of big hit, so I have high expectations.
Points of examination by the editorial department
The paintings have their own individuality, and while the story has the strength of focusing on a specific genre, I could feel the drama firmly in the movement of the characters, and it was so interesting that I wanted to read the continuation as it is, but the high evaluation was 'Presentation'. Power'. Inside and outside the work, I can feel the strengths of the information that I have learned or researched, how I intend to make it interesting, and how the readers can enjoy it. I think that the 'presentation ability' that appeals to readers while being able to understand the individuality of the work and create a story that strengthens it is a certain ability. However, although the composition of a little specialized work + bean knowledge is also a strength, it feels like an advertising manga for that job, so it is even better if you can devise ways to put out information.
GIGAZINE Secret Club (GSC) Closed Evaluation Summary
Even if the information as a specialized genre and the drama part as a work thing are good, there was a point that I felt that they were not connected well. Also, there were some pages where I felt that the way information was output was overloaded, so I think it would be better to select or adjust the number of pages. I think that both the color pattern (cover) and the black-and-white main story have their own individuality, but I personally liked the atmosphere of the black-and-white picture, so I thought that I could make it in color while maintaining its texture. I think it's the best.

It was very specialized and had all the features. The amount of knowledge that I could talk about and the detailed explanation that scared me for a moment were real. The conversation with the woman at work was very good, so I was careful about the balance between the human pattern and the growth of the hero and the development unique to the gas shop, and the screen making was simply a recollection or a change in the scene. It was difficult to understand, so I thought it would be better if I drew it consciously so that it could be conveyed.

First of all, I thought it would be nice if the design was very pop and cute. The facial expressions are diverse and the character designs are good, so I thought it would be even better if I devised the character settings. Reality as a work is good, but if you want to make it more manga-like, for example, if the customer is a gangster, or even better, if you put out a dragon, an elf, or an alien, the range of the story will expand. I think that the subject matter is unusual and unique, and I think it's easy to get along with the story of growth that new employees do their best. On the other hand, there are some parts that are too descriptive, so you can omit them to make a human drama with unique and perverted employees and strange and dangerous customers, a modern or medieval fantasy world, science fiction ticks. I thought it would be interesting to shake it in the direction of specializing in extraterrestrial life.

On the other hand, to put it badly, I feel that I have a clear personality and strengths and weaknesses in how to draw, and I feel like choosing the genre and atmosphere of the script. Also, while the quality of the manga was high, the illustrations and character designs seemed a little lower than the manga, so why not start planning your work from scratch? It is good to push forward in the way you are good at, but I also want you to continue trying new things.

It is highly evaluated that the name can be made into the final form while keeping the momentum. On top of that, whether or not you have the attitude required as a professional, such as 'Can you actually do it as a drawing person?', For example, responding to schedules, regular contact, feedback loops, etc. After that, if 'a picture that only you can draw' is on top of those elements, you should be able to become the strongest. Momentum is important for manga anyway, so if you keep this momentum and raise the level to hit, it will be invincible. It is very important whether or not you can feel the possibility of doing so, and the point of evaluation is to clear that part.
GIGAZINE Secret Club (GSC) Closed Evaluation Summary
The characters in the manga were cute and the ingenuity of each scene seemed to be good, but I was worried that the whole story was slightly deformed. Is it because the script is a pop gag, or is it such a style? I would also like to see drawings and illustrations in various other genres.
We will continue to aim for serialization in the future, so we hope that both members who participated in the judging and those who do not can look forward to the development.

◆ In charge of drawing, name composition, application for drawing help
・ 'Drawing only' application method:
It is OK if you can show the URL of the portfolio and the collection of works on the Manga Award application form . Please write 'Apply only for drawing' in the 'Other' column. There is no limit to the number of illustrations and manga for the portfolio, and there is no line that requires more than one, but the more you have, the easier it is to get an evaluation.
・ How to apply for 'name composition'
We are also looking for a 'name composition' that uses the original script of the text as the name. As with drawing only, please send as much as you can about your portfolio, past work names and manga works.
・ Examination flow for 'drawing only' and 'name composition':
We will contact you by the month following the submission of the form regarding the portion that passed the first stage examination when looking at the portfolio, so we will ask you to actually draw with the trial original in the second stage examination, and after passing, the final stage voting examination Turn to.

'Coloring help' and 'Background help' calculate the hourly wage with work management software. The hourly wage is initially set as a trial period, and from there it will be increased according to the work skill and the number of contributions that can be made.
In the case of 'name structure', it is calculated by the manuscript fee per page.

◆ Original script application guidelines
・ In addition to the first episode manuscript , prepare a plot (synopsis) from the first episode to the final episode . For the synopsis, please describe the flow of the entire work in detail on the first page of the manuscript in 100 to 800 characters.
・ In the first screening, we will see the fun of a simple story and the completeness of one story. If you proceed from the second screening to the final screening, you will be conscious of actually creating the original manga, and will judge 'Is it possible to constantly create a script written by To?' Until the final episode.
・ If you are applying for 'original only' and only text, it is okay if you paste the text in Google Docs and then enter the address of the shared link in the application form. In that case, please do not edit the document after applying.
