Twitter's Fleet is a function similar to Instagram's ' Stories ' that posted videos and images automatically disappear after 24 hours. The fleet was initially tested in Brazil and other countries, but from November 2020, Twitter users in Japan can also use the fleet.

Today's announcement marks the piloting of full-screen ads for this fleet. Ads have a 16:9 aspect ratio and support promotions in image or video format. Video ads can be up to 30 seconds long, and advertisers can also include a call-to-action (CTA) to encourage users to swipe up .
