・ Route search to reduce sudden braking of automobiles
Each time you get a route on the map, multiple routes to your destination are now displayed, taking into account the number of lanes and curves on the road. Then, if the estimated time of arrival is the same or the minimum difference, a route that reduces the number of sudden braking is selected as the recommended route.

・ Detailed live view
If you have GPS turned on, you can tap the 'LIVE' button on the map to get direct access to a live view of augmented reality, with detailed information on nearby store reviews, congestion, photos, and new directions. You can check road signs and so on. Also, if you are traveling, you will be able to see how far the selected store is from the hotel you are staying at.

・ High-definition map
The map will be more detailed, it will be easier to locate sidewalks, pedestrian crossings and safety zones, and the shape and width of the road will be scaled. This information helps pedestrians follow the optimal route, especially when using a wheelchair or stroller. By the end of 2021, this feature will be available in more than 50 cities, including Berlin and São Paulo.

・ Visualization of congestion status
The crowded areas in the city are displayed in color. This feature helps avoid congestion and is also useful when you want to visit a lively area.

・ Changes in display information depending on the situation
Information such as time of day and whether the user is traveling now highlights the most relevant locations. For example, if you open the map at 8am on weekdays, the nearby coffee shops will stand out instead of the dinner spots. Also, when you tap any place, if it is a burger shop, highly relevant places such as other nearby burger shops will be highlighted. In addition, if it is a travel destination, the tourist destination will be highlighted.

It has been announced that all of these features will be rolled out on Android and iOS in the coming months.
