The game starts from the scene where it is launched on the beach. Click on the weapon that was right next to you to pick it up.
When I talked to the NPCs with the '!' Mark above them, they seemed to have been thrown out of the ship, and only two were launched on the beach.
This NPC runs out in the middle of the story. At the same time, a zombie by my side attacked me. Click to attack.
Then the zombie dropped an item called 'Fireball'.
This item is called a 'skill gem' and is used by attaching it to the socket attached to the equipment.
There are two blue circles on the wand I picked up earlier, but this is the socket. When you put the skill gem in the socket, the Fireball skill appears in the skill slot at the bottom right.
Right-click on an enemy to shoot a fireball. Using the skill consumes manna, but since you have a mana flask from the beginning, you can recover it by pressing the '5' key. The remaining amount of this flask increases when you defeat the enemy, so you can use it without worrying about how much is left.
If you click on the box in the middle of the map, an item called 'Arcane Surge Support' will appear.
Arcane Surge Support is a type of 'support gem' that can support other skill gems. You can change the properties of Fireball by setting it in the socket that is connected to the socket in which Fireball was set earlier with a stick. By setting Arcane Surge Support, you can now get a buff called 'Arcane Surge' that increases damage every time you hit Fireball several times.
As you progress through the map, a mini boss called 'Hillock' appears. When you hover over it, a decorated HP bar will appear on the screen.
When I managed to defeat it while using the life flask set in the '1' and '2' keys, the level became 2 with this experience value, and I got passive skill points. Immediately open the passive skill tree from the '+' mark button at the bottom left.
It seems that you can get either of the two glowing nodes that are connected from the starting point.
I tried to see what the passive skill tree looks like, but it was too big to fit on the screen. With this size, the range of builds that can be achieved seems to be quite wide.
I haven't seen all of this big ones, so I'll give points to those who have more spell damage. After clicking the node you want to swing, confirm the allocation with 'APPLY POINTS' on the screen and press the 'P' key to close this screen.

This 'Scroll of Wisdom' is a so-called appraisal book. You can check the performance of the target item by right-clicking 'Scroll of Wisdom' and then clicking this item.

When defeated, a quest item called Medicine Chest was dropped. Bring this item home to complete the quest.
You don't have to walk on your way home, you can right-click and use the item 'Portal Scroll' to set up a warp portal to the city on the spot. You can return to the city in an instant.
The reward for the quest was a 'flask', an item like a recovery potion that is gradually replenished each time you defeat an enemy. In addition to the 'Life Flask' which has a high HP recovery effect and the 'Mana Flask' which recovers mana at the same time as HP recovery, there are also flasks with convenient performance that increase the movement speed during the effect time. .. Convenient performance Flasks can also be used without hesitation because the remaining amount is restored by defeating the enemy.
There was another reward, where you could choose a support skill gem. When you place the cursor on it, it will be displayed whether it can support the 'skill you are currently using', so select it by referring to that as well.
I tried to fit the newly acquired support skill gem, but faced the problem of running out of slots. There is no space in the blue socket where the blue gem can be fitted.
I picked up a wand with three 'blue-blue-blue' sockets linked to it, so I decided to switch to it. By the way, use an item called 'Orb of Transmutation' to increase the rarity to magic. The effect is random, but this time it has the effect of increasing lightning damage.
I was able to link a second support skill gem to Freezing Pulse.
Passive skill points received when leveling up on the way will also be swung toward the nearest node where spell damage increases.
Warp back to the fork Waypoint and then proceed to 'The Mud Flats'.

Collect 3 quest items and click on the wall on the far right of the map to complete this quest.
By completing the quest, the entrance to the next map has opened.
There was another Waypoint just after entering the next map. It seems that it is installed quite often, so it seems that you do not have to run many times to move to the same place. I will return to the city and go to get the reward for the previous quest.
I got a total of 2 skill gems.
The gems you didn't choose for the quest reward were placed on the second tab of the item buying screen, so you don't have to worry about missing them. If you look closely, there are gems that did not appear in the quest reward, and the amount of gems sold increases as the game progresses, so it is good to take a closer look.
I packed a lot of gems in the empty slots. You can easily change the skill assigned to that key by clicking on the skill slot at the bottom right.
I found 'The Flooded Depth' displayed in the quest column, so I decided to enter.
I found a mini boss called 'The Dweller of the Deep'.
By increasing my skills a lot, I was able to defeat the mini boss very easily. As the number of skills increases, it becomes fun to devise things such as 'How can you turn the skills to reduce damage and do more damage?'
When I tried to return to the city to report the completion of the quest, I inadvertently ran out of portal scrolling. In that case, you can move to the city by pressing the 'Esc key' once to return to the character selection screen.
As a reward for the quest, I received a book that can earn skill points. Once inventoried, right-click to use.
In addition to the normal nodes, there are other nodes in the passive skill tree called 'keystones' that are extremely large. Each keystone is characterized by making changes that completely change the gameplay, for example, 'Elemental Overload' installed near the start position of the witch does not increase the damage when a critical occurs, but 8 The effect of getting a buff that increases damage by 40% per second. This time we will grow the tree aiming at this node.
As I went through the map, I encountered a special stage called 'Trial of Ascendancy'.

When you enter, the middle boss of Chapter 1, 'Brutus', is waiting for you. Unlike the mini boss battle, the entrance was closed, so it was not possible to leave in the middle of the battle.

As it was a middle boss, it was quite strong and died on the way. You can choose to revive in the city or at checkpoints, but this time we will choose revival at checkpoints.

In this game, there is no penalty even if you die until you clear Chapter 5, and even if you revive, the boss's HP will not recover, so if you revive and immediately charge, you can defeat any boss. can do.
