From 8:37 on March 11, 2021 Japan time, there was a situation where you could not access the services and resources of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Oracle is investigating this cause, but it is believed that it was caused by a configuration problem in the public DNS infrastructure and a DNS query failure.

This event was resolved at 10:03 on March 11, 2021.

Oracle Cloud is exposed to competition from other cloud services such as AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud (GCP), and Q4 2020 revenues were lower than analysts expected.

The price setting is about half the price on average compared to AWS, Azure, and GCP, and it is said that the data center is being strengthened for further competition.
