I tried arranging old and new bottles. The shape of the bottle is the same, but the new version on the left has a glass teapot on the label.



The new version uses Sri Lankan tea leaves that are compatible with each flavor, and the type of tea leaves used for each is also specified.



Let's start with straight tea. The new version uses dimbula tea leaves.



Looking at the raw material names, the contents are the same as sugar, black tea, spices, and vitamin C. It is written that dimbula tea leaves are used at 20%.



The calories are the same, 16 kcal per 100 ml, and the new version has a slight increase in salt equivalent from 0.015 g to 0.02 g.



When I opened the lid, both had the same scent, but the older version had a slightly astringent scent.



When I drank and compared it, the taste was the same as the aroma, and the old version had a slightly more astringent aftertaste. The sweetness doesn't seem to change, but the new version has less astringency, so I felt it was more refreshing and clear to drink. However, it is a difference that even people who have been drinking straight tea in the afternoon can drink it without any discomfort.



Next, I'll try drinking milk tea. The new version of milk tea uses candy tea leaves.



The same raw material names are listed, such as milk, sugar, black tea, whole milk powder, skim milk powder, dextrin, and salt.



The new version has 38 kcal per 100 ml and the old version has 37 kcal, which is an increase of 1 kcal.



When I drank and compared this, I felt that the new version had a slightly stronger scent as a whole. There is no astringency like that of straight tea, and the mellow taste of milk is common, but the depth of the scent or the three-dimensional effect is felt in the new version, and it is a slightly luxurious finish. ..



At the end, I'll try lemon tea. The new version uses Nuwara Eliya tea leaves, which are characterized by a fruity scent.



Ingredient names include sugar, black tea, lemon juice / acidulants, flavors, and vitamin C.



All calories are 28 kcal.



Whether the scent of lemon and the fruity of Nuwara Eliya tea leaves are assimilated, this is the most difficult to understand, and the difference is that it is different if you ask. When I focused my attention on my tongue to find the difference, I felt that the new version had a slightly less sour taste of artificial lemons and astringency of tea leaves, making it a more natural taste, but it is difficult to conclude. It was about the difference.



When I compared the drinks, I got the impression that they all had a 'clean and natural feeling of drinking', but none of them changed the image of 'afternoon tea' significantly, so enthusiasts expect it without any discomfort. It seems that you can enjoy the taste.
