I tried three types of misted ``pon de de chigiri bread'' baked yeasty fluffy texture in the oven



From Mr. Donut, 'Pon de Chigiri Bread' made from yeast dough with pon de ring appeared on June 19, 2020 (Friday). I bought three kinds of pond de chopped bread called 'sugar', 'three kinds of cheese' and 'mentai mayo sauce' and ate it.

I went to Mr. Donuts to buy it.



Three types of pon de des chopped bread. From the left, there are sugar (150 yen excluding tax), 3 types of cheese (180 yen excluding tax) and Mentai Mayo sauce (180 yen excluding tax).



The pon de chigiri bread is fluffy and swelled with yeast dough, and you can see that it is about one size larger than the original pon de ring.



The sugar is full of sugar and

glaze from above.



When you tear it with your hands, it feels like fluffy bread.



When eaten, the sugary, crunchy texture is accented by the fluffy texture of the yeast dough. It's certainly sweet because it's full of sugar, but it's also not so sweet because it has a slight acidity of yeast dough, so it's perfect for a bit of snack.



The three cheeses are topped with

cheddar gouda camembert cheese sauce and shredded cheese.



When you try it, you can feel the flavor of cheese. The sourness and habit of cheese is perfect for sweet and sour yeast dough.



Mentai Mayo Sauce literally has a mix of Mentaiko and Mayonnaise.



The mentaiko has a tingling spiciness, but it is so hot that people who are not good at spicy food can eat it with confidence. The saltiness of mayo sauce and mentaiko is quite strong, and the impression of eating mentai mayo sauce is completely “side dish bread”. The dough had a chewy and fluffy texture, and was finished with a strong saltiness and the spiciness of the mentaiko that gradually squeezed into the finish.
