The desktop PC market is expected to have negative annual growth of 2.5% annually until 2022
Market research company IDC announced shipments in 2017 on PCs such as desktop PCs, notebook PCs and tablets. The trend of declining desktop PC demand is ongoing, and shipments finally divided 100 million units.

The share of 2022 is 42.1% for notebook PCs, and IDC expects that it will increase its presence.
