◆ Installation
Just click "free" to install Bookmark Manager.Please note that once installed, it will not be displayed in the extended function list and will not be able to return to the previous bookmark UI.


Click "Add".


Icons etc. are not added, and if you want to bookmark, just press the star button at the right end of the URL bar as before.


◆ 1: Bookmark with one click
So, what kind of things did you improve? As you always click on the star, a window automatically extracted website name, description, images etc. is displayed and bookmarked.


It is designed to be bookmarked immediately with 1 click, it is possible to designate a folder from within the bookmark window or to fly to the bookmark folder.


In addition, with conventional bookmarks, it is bookmarked by pressing "completion" with a small popup displayed when the star is clicked, so two clicks were necessary.


To check how bookmarked, click "Bookmark" from the menu button in the upper right and click "Bookmark Manager".


Then, bookmarks with thumbnails are displayed, and you can access the website by clicking the image. It is clearly distinguished from bookmarks of only texts so far.


When you try to display with a conventional bookmark, it is a bookmark of the same website, but only text is listed. By just installing Bookmark Manager, you can see that bookmarks are improved both visual and operation feeling.

There is an input column on the upper side of the bookmark page, and when entering a keyword, only the corresponding bookmark is immediately extracted.


◆ 3: Automatic Folder Sorting of Bookmarks
In addition to the keywords related to websites such as "Tokyo" "photos" etc., there is also a function to distribute bookmarks to folders that are likely to be automatically applicable. However, because it says "Server can not be accessed" for some reason, it seems that it does not correspond at the time of article writing.


Of course it is also possible to create and organize folders manually. From the bookmark list, add a check to the upper right corner of the thumbnail of the website you want to divide the folder, enter the folder name from "Create a folder" and click "Create" OK.


When you click "Folders", thumbnails are displayed for each folder and it is easy to see.


There were occasionally no websites that should have been divided into folders, but once you sort them again they were displayed properly. Since Google has not made official announcement, it seems better to think as a beta version.


◆ 4: Automatic update of bookmark information
Information such as the thumbnail image to be displayed is automatically updated when the layout and description of the website is changed.

The created bookmark folder can be switched to "Private" "Public", it is possible to share the bookmark folder individually. By default it is set to "Private". To share a folder Open a folder, click "Share this folder", then click "Set to public".


Then the URL of the folder is generated and you can share your folder by pasting it on SNS etc. The display of "Private" of the folder is switched to "Public".
