Since east - west concourse in front of Hankyu Umida main store opened, I actually tried it

"East-West Concourse" which was unable to pass for three years due to the renovation work of "Hankyu department store Umida main store" opened on October 2 (Tue). As a result, we decided to actually look at the fact that it was possible for smooth traffic between JR Osaka station on the west side and HEP Navio and other commercial facilities at the east side.

There are five Hankyu related commercial facilities in Umeda area other than "Hankyu Umida main store".


Hankyu department store Umida main store began renovation work from 2009, east-west concourse connecting JR Osaka station on the west side and commercial facility in the east was closed for three years.


That "east-west concourse" opened on October 2 (Tue) and it became possible to have smooth access to JR Osaka station from the direction of Hankyu Umeda station.

Looking at JR Osaka station in the west from the eastern end of "East-West Concourse", it looks like this.

I tried "North-South Concourse" from the 2nd floor. Construction materials are still placed inside the barricades, and it will be fully opened here on Thursday, October 25 (Thursday).
