Speaker "NX-SA 5" that can disinfect iPhone / iPod during playback / charging

JVC Kenwood will release compact component systems "NX - SA 5" and "NX - SA 3" from the end of June that allow you to enjoy balanced stereo sound anywhere, anywhere. "NX-SA 5 / SA 3" is a cylindrical compact component system. Equipped with "4 speaker × 4 amplifier structure" arranged in its main body and original "new sound field system" by signal processing, you can enjoy balanced stereo sound even if it is not from the front.

As an image like this, when the new sound field system is off (image left), the front is stereo, but if you move to the side it becomes monaural. However, if it is on (image right), it will be stereo from anywhere.


The size of the cylinder is 162 mm in diameter and 329 mm in height, and it is possible to install it to the size of approximately one CD case. All the operation buttons are arranged at the top and operability is improved.

A push open type direct dock is built in the front part of the main body, and you can connect it while attaching iPhone or iPod to a commercial case.


For the first time in the industry, NX-SA 5 is equipped with an ionizer that has virus suppression and sterilization effects in the air. By doing this, it is also possible to disinfect iPhone and iPod connected to the dock during use / charging. By the way, because it is not a medical device, it does not guarantee prevention of infection.

With the release from late June, the price is expected to be around 30,000 yen for NX-SA 5 and around 27,000 yen for NX-SA 3.
