From the city, Table Mountain is a distance from the eyes to the top, you can easily go to the summit with a ropeway. It takes 5 minutes from the ground station of the ropeway where the altitude is about 340 m to the top station of altitude about 1000 m. I will lower the altitude and I will look up at Table Mountain.


I lowered the altitude so as to go down the stairs in a stroke.

It took me three hours to return to the ground station of the ropeway. It was harder than I expected. And muscle ache on the next day.


The vegetation has changed since entering South Africa. It is all plants that I have never seen, but it is growing normally with an ordinary face. Let's take photos while apologizing as "I do not know". The world is wide.

On the south side of Cape Town is Table Mountain, but in the west there are also two hills called Lions Head (altitude 669 m) and Signal Hill (350 m altitude). There was a paved road leading to Signal Hill through the hillside of Lionshead, so I of course ran on a bicycle. It is a pleasant route that can overlook the city of Cape Town.

In the seaside district of Cape Town, there is a place called "waterfront" where there is a retro atmosphere. A shopping mall, an aquarium, a movie theater, a restaurant, a Ferris wheel, a hotel, it was a commercial district where many people gathered.

There are many cruise ships from this waterfront port.


There was a Ferris wheel which I had not seen for a long time.

In Cape Town, in addition to the sightseeing as above, because we have preparation for returning home, we stayed only for 10 days.

In Cape Town I saw a lot of "fish & chips". I am deep-fried white-fish with plenty of volume, but regrettable that the clothes are heavy like spring rolls.
