According to this article, the educational program called "Wakimi driving project" is being carried out at the Vail-Christian High School in Colorado State in the United States under the auspices of Colorado State Security Bureau, Fire Department, Bail Bally Medical Center. This program seems to teach how dangerous it is if you take care of other things while driving while having students have mobile phones and mailing while playing Mario Kart Wii.
Students who played Mario Kart Wii while actually mailing said that many students felt stress by colliding with various obstacles. Also, there are some students who answer "Do not e-mail while driving" after the project experience, and it seems that it may be effective as it is.
