Copy tool "k9copy" of DVD which runs on Linux
It is like copying, like DVDShrink, it extracts only the main part and copies it to one DVD-R etc. So it's a bit different from re-encoding and saying so on DivX. I am surprised at the fact that such software is also present in Linux.

There seems to be other such things.

However, there are still many bugs, and troubles seem to occur frequently. There seems to be a way to use DVDShrink with WINE, but it is also unstable. So, this "k9copy" seems to be a rare software that can be used right now.
