NVIDIA has finally announced the 'NVIDIA RTX Spark' SoC for laptops, featuring 128GB of memory, an NVIDIA GPU, and an Arm-based CPU for high-performance local AI execution.



NVIDIA's technology conference, 'NVIDIA GTC Taipei 2026,' began on June 1, 2026, Japan time. Starting at 12:00 PM JST on June 1, 2026, CEO Jensen Huang delivered a keynote address, during which the notebook PC SoC ' NVIDIA RTX Spark ' was announced.

The RTX Spark is an SoC featuring a 1-petaflop Blackwell GPU, a 20-core Grace CPU, and 128GB of unified memory. It supports various NVIDIA technologies such as CUDA, TensorRT, NVFP4, RTX Ray Tracing, DLSS, Reflex, and G-SYNC.



The RTX Spark can locally run AI models with up to 120 billion parameters. It also boasts impressive gaming performance, capable of playing AAA titles at 1440p and 100fps.



RTX Spark is designed with Windows execution in mind, and Prism, an emulator for running x86 applications for Windows on Arm processors, is also optimized for RTX Spark.



Laptops equipped with RTX Spark are expected to be released in the fall of 2026 by PC manufacturers such as ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and MSI.



Additionally, Microsoft's 'Surface Laptop Ultra,' equipped with RTX Spark, is scheduled to be released in 2026. The Surface Laptop Ultra features a 15-inch mini-LED touchscreen and the largest haptic feedback touchpad in the history of the Surface series. It is said to be a practical notebook PC with HDMI, USB Type-C, and USB Type-A ports, an SD card slot, and a headphone jack.



Furthermore, NVIDIA has also announced the 'DGX Station,' a Windows desktop PC equipped with the 'NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Desktop Superchip.'
