Super Kigurumi Fight is a battle event where 'costumed characters wearing balloons wield weapons and pop each other's balloons.' It has been held several times before, and popular characters such as Zundamon from the 'Tohoku Zunko & Zundamon Project' and Jashin-chan Impact from 'Jashin-chan Dropkick' have engaged in fierce battles. You can see what the Super Kigurumi Fight held in October 2025 was like in the article below.

The venue for this event is Amico Dome. The weather is sunny but the wind is quite strong.

The dome is shaded, and there are no dangerous obstacles on the stage. Okay!

I spotted the mascots before they entered the venue. Work Cat and Zundamon are together.

Zundamon waved in a friendly manner.

I was led to the venue by the staff.

The working cat also follows in Zundamon's footsteps.

Hoppe-chan from Sunhoseki was also heading towards the venue with light steps.

The event started on time, beginning with a greeting from producer Kazuki Yanase.

Voice actresses Chiaki Omigawa and Yurie Kosakai made an appearance.

Ms. Kosakai voices the character Pekora in the anime 'Jashin-chan Dropkick.' She also works as a ring announcer.

Ms. Omigawa voices Minos in 'Jashin-chan Dropkick.' She also serves as the sound director for the Hoppe-chan anime.

Guest referee: Taichi Hatanaka.

Zundamon entered the venue with Tanaka Koyuki. Ms. Tanaka is the voice of Shikoku Metan in the 'Tohoku Zunko & Zundamon Project'.

Zundamon looks down on the venue. He's shrunk compared to

last year's Super Kigurumi Fight , but he's still huge.

Fururun is the official character of Kaiyo Town, Tokushima Prefecture.

Fururun's special skills are Awa Odori dance, cheering, and dancing. This event is a battle.

The working cat makes an appearance.

The working cat entered the venue carrying a blower. It also struck a 'Yosh!' pose, which brought the house down.

A working cat points a blower at a person. This is not safe.

The blower was taken away by my older sister.

Okay!

Hoppe-chan also entered.

They demonstrate incredible jumping ability, something you wouldn't expect from someone in a costume.

Pug Taro from 'Uncle Likes Cute Things' is also joining the fray.

Pug Taro walks with a wobbly gait, giving the impression that he's a step behind in agility. Agility is required for the mascot costume in this event.

And then, Jashin-chan Impact, who has been participating in Super Kigurumi Fight since its inception, made her entrance.

An accident occurred during entry, where its tail was cut off. But it wasn't fazed by something as trivial as its tail being cut off.

He struck a cool pose and completed his entrance.

All the players have now appeared. It's time for a commemorative photo.

The first match is Pug Taro vs. Zundamon. Before the battle, it was revealed that Zundamon

had missed his flight .

He said that missing his flight allowed him to get plenty of sleep. He's ready to take on the challenge with full energy.

Pug Taro prepares his weapons. Thumbtacks are stuck to them.

Attach the balloon around your stomach.

Preparation complete.

Zundamon has long arms with a wide range of motion, so his weapon is a ping pong racket with a short reach.

Zundamon also wore a balloon.

Battle mode activated.

The battle was recorded on video. Zundamon took exaggerated steps as if playing with a child, and engaged in a completely disrespectful playstyle.

Two and a half minutes into the battle, Zundamon popped Pugtaro's third balloon and won, accompanied by Tanaka's comment, 'I can win, but I'm not sure if I should win with this look on my face.'

Zundamon is triumphant. This year's Zundamon is strong.

He even has the energy to wave to the audience. But for some reason, Pugtaro seems to have a sad look in his eyes.

The Super Kigurumi Fight continues! We'll be releasing footage of the second, third, and final matches soon, so stay tuned!
