According to The Verge, the Legion Go S will see a price increase of up to $650 (approximately 103,000 yen) in early April 2026. This is a larger price increase than that of Lenovo's flagship model, the Legion Go 2 .
However, not all Legion Go S models have nearly doubled in price. The Windows and AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme models are selling for $1,679.99 (approximately 267,000 yen), but at the time of writing, they are on sale for $1,049.99 (approximately 167,000 yen). Even the AMD Ryzen Z2 Go model, which has even lower performance, has seen a significant price increase from its launch price of $599.99 (approximately 95,000 yen). It is now priced at $989.99 (approximately 157,000 yen) at Best Buy , $1049.99 (approximately 167,000 yen) on Lenovo's official website , and $1199 (approximately 190,000 yen) at Walmart .
The Verge pointed out, 'Lenovo has not immediately responded to our request for comment, but given the circumstances, it is possible that they are quietly discontinuing this model due to the global memory shortage. In fact, listings for several models are disappearing from retail stores and Lenovo's official website.'
Furthermore, on the official Lenovo website in Japan, the Legion Go S sales page had a 'Check similar products' button where the purchase button should have been, and the official store did not carry the Legion Go S.
