MiniMax M2.7 is an AI model natively compatible with multi-agent systems that run multiple agents simultaneously. MiniMax M2.7 was developed using an AI-powered mechanism that repeatedly performs the following processes: 'problem analysis → correction plan → code modification → test execution → result comparison → application or discarding changes,' and is touted as an 'AI model developed using self-evolution.'

The benchmark results for 'MiniMax M2.7', 'MiniMax M2.5', 'Gemini 3.1 Pro', 'Claude Sonnet 4.6', 'Claude Opus 4.6', and 'GPT-5.4' are shown below. The MiniMax M2.7 scored higher than the Gemini 3.1 Pro in most tests, and also outperformed the Claude Opus 4.6 and GPT-5.4 in some tests.



Tests conducted by the third-party organization Artificial Analysis have also confirmed that MiniMax M2.7 has superior agent performance compared to Gemini 3.1 Pro Preview.



MiniMax M2.7 was released as an open model on April 12, 2026, less than a month after its announcement. The model is available on Hugging Face and ModelScope and can be downloaded for free. However, it uses a non-commercial license , and commercial use requires application to MiniMax.
