While AI models are capable of complex calculations and natural conversation, even the most advanced models can make mistakes on simple questions like, 'I want to wash my car. The car wash is 50 meters away. Should I walk or drive?' They can incorrectly answer that 'no matter how close it is, if you want to wash your car, you must drive.' Opper AI has developed the idea of repeatedly testing this ' car wash test ' with multiple AIs, creating 'AI Roundtable,' which allows for testing and discussing a large number of AI models simultaneously.

To use AI Roundtable, first go to Ask the AI Roundtable and enter your question and answer choices.



Choose a mode from 'Poll' and 'Debate'. First, select 'Poll'.



Add the AI models you want to participate in the voting from the list. There are 213 types of AI models, and you can add up to 50 models in voting mode. After selecting the AI models, click 'Start Roundtable'.



The AI models provided their respective answers. Of the 10 AI models selected, 5 gave the incorrect answer 'walk' to the car wash test.



The results of the responses from all AI models are summarized, and the strongest opinion from each response is also extracted. This summary states: 'The results were split 5-5. Three models, Sonar Pro, DeepSeek V3.1, and GPT-4o, supported 'walking' because, considering the distance of 50m, it has less environmental impact and is good for health. In contrast, two models, GPT-5.4 and Claude Opus 4.6, presented a logical counter-argument that the act of walking to a car wash without a car is inherently contradictory, and that actually washing a car would be extremely difficult.'



Additionally, you can view the reasons why each model voted in 'MODEL DECISIONS (Selection of each AI model)' and 'POLL TRANSCRIPT (Reason for voting).'

Next, let's try using 'Debate.' In Debate mode, you can select up to six AI models. After selecting your AI models, click 'Start Roundtable.'



The results were as follows: First, a vote was held, and for the car wash test, two models answered 'walk,' while four models answered 'drive.' After that, a discussion took place, and all the models were persuaded by the arguments of the 'drive' camp and ultimately concluded that they would 'drive.'



In addition, under 'Past Roundtable,'

you can view various polls and discussions that have taken place in past AI Roundtables, such as questions about which way to go in a dungeon where the path ahead is unclear , or whether to wait if someone is trying to rush into a closing elevator . Note that sessions are private by default, so questions will not be automatically made public.
