The 'Hormuz Minesweeper' is a minesweeper that can remove mines in the Strait of Hormuz.

A new game called ' Hormuz Minesweeper ' has been released, designed to remove mines located in the area stretching from the Persian Gulf to the Gulf of Oman, primarily in

the Strait of Hormuz off the southern coast of Iran.

The Hormuz Minesweeper looks like this: Iran is at the top, the United Arab Emirates and Oman are at the bottom, and the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, and the Gulf of Oman are hidden in between by squares.

Left-clicking opens a square, and right-clicking allows you to place a flag where you suspect there is a mine. Additionally, if the number of flags placed around a numbered square are correct, clicking that numbered square will automatically open up the surrounding squares that do not contain mines. Note that the objective is mine removal, not landmine removal, so all clickable squares are located in the sea.

The number on the left is the 'number of remaining mines,' and the number on the right is the 'number of remaining clickable squares.' In the following case, there are 51 remaining mines and 279 clickable squares.

I was playing smoothly, placing flags at the mine locations, but a simple mistake led to a game over. When you get a game over, a video of US President Donald Trump giving a speech saying 'America is winning too much' plays.

The following video will be played.

Next, I managed to complete the game without any mines exploding, but at the very end , I found myself in a situation where 'there was a possibility of mines in either square, but I couldn't get any additional hints,' leaving me in a purely luck-based predicament . Incidentally, the same video of President Trump's speech played when I completed the game.

Hormuz Minesweeper is developed as open source, and its source code is also publicly available on GitHub.
