We asked GIGAZINE readers questions such as 'What's the hot manga right now?' and 'Have you ever bought manga as an e-book?'

First, GIGAZINE readers were asked whether they had read manga recently. 64.1% answered 'Yes' (reading), and 35.9% answered 'No' (not reading).

When we asked readers who said they had recently read manga, 'Have you come across any interesting manga recently?', 60.5% answered 'Yes.' Surprisingly, it seems that the rate of coming across interesting manga is low.

Among users who answered that they have purchased manga e-books, we asked, 'Which e-book app or service do you usually use?' (Multiple answers allowed.) The most popular platform was Amazon's Kindle (64.1%), followed by Piccoma (18.9%), Shonen Jump+ (18.7%), Magapoke (12.8%), and Sunday Webry (10%).
