AMD has announced its fourth quarter and full year 2025 financial results.
Fourth-quarter 2025 sales are expected to increase 34% year-over-year to $10.3 billion, and net income is expected to increase 213% year-over-year to $1.5 billion (approximately 230 billion yen). Full-year 2025 sales are expected to increase 34% year-over-year to $34.6 billion, and net income is expected to increase 164% year-over-year to $4.3 billion (approximately 670 billion yen).
Data center sales were particularly strong in the fourth quarter of 2025, reaching a record high of $5.4 billion (approximately 840 billion yen) thanks to strong demand for EPYC processors and continued shipment growth of Instinct GPUs. For the full year of 2025, data center sales reached a record high of $16.6 billion (approximately 2.6 trillion yen).
AMD's client and gaming divisions also performed well in the fourth quarter of 2025, increasing 37% year-over-year to $3.9 billion (approximately 610 billion yen). Growth in the client business was driven by strong demand and continued market share gains for AMD's flagship Ryzen processors, while growth in the gaming business was driven by increased sales of semi-custom products and increased demand for Radeon GPUs.
Regarding 2025 performance, CEO Su said, '2025 was a defining year for AMD. We achieved record revenue and profits, supported by strong execution and widespread demand for our high-performance and AI platforms.' 'We enter 2026 with strong momentum across our business, driven by accelerating adoption of our high-performance EPYC and Ryzen CPUs and the rapid expansion of our data center AI franchise.'

During the earnings briefing, Su also stated, 'Development of Microsoft's next-generation Xbox, powered by AMD's semi-custom SoC, is progressing smoothly and is ready for launch in 2027.'
Regarding this brief comment referring to Xbox, technology media The Verge reported, 'While it doesn't guarantee that Microsoft will launch a new Xbox in 2027, it does indicate that AMD would be ready to support the launch at that time if Microsoft is ready.'
