Blue Origin is a space development company run by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. Starting with Bezos' first manned spaceflight in July 2021, the company began offering a 10-minute 'space travel' service that transports people into space above the Kármán line (100 km altitude). Over the past five years, the company has conducted 38 flights and sent 98 people into space.

Unlike the Falcom 9, a reusable rocket operated by SpaceX, New Shepard is not intended to reach Earth orbit, so its use is limited to space tourism and scientific missions, not the moon.
However, New Shepard's operations will be suspended to redirect all resources to the lunar mission, demonstrating Blue Origin's commitment to the U.S. goal of returning to the Moon and establishing a permanent and sustainable lunar surface presence.
The suspension period is said to be 'at least two years,' but due to the reasons mentioned above, it is unlikely that operations will resume until a lunar mission is planned.
