This report led to a series of complaints, such as 'I just want to use it as a regular TV, I don't need all the extra AI features.'

Additionally, the fact that the 'Live Plus' option, which allows users to share the content they watch with other companies, is enabled by default has also caused controversy.

TechPowerUp, a technology media outlet, pointed out, 'The trend of integrating AI into everyday products is becoming inevitable, even in televisions. Microsoft appears to be promoting Copilot for TVs in an effort to expand its share of the AI app market. Its aim is likely to become a major AI platform.' It added, 'Other TV operating systems are also at risk from dedicated AI apps, which is a particularly troublesome issue for users who don't want their TVs to perform AI processing.'
