Elon Musk, founder of xAI and owner of X, announced that AI company 'xAI' has acquired 'X' (formerly Twitter) in an all-stock transaction. Since both xAI and X are

privately held companies with no public shares, their financial status has not been disclosed.

At the end of October 2022, Musk acquired Twitter for $44 billion (about 6.6 trillion yen).

Subsequently, in July 2023, Twitter was rebranded to 'X' and the company name was also changed to 'X'.

According to Musk, the merger will value xAI at $80 billion, while X will be valued at $45 billion to $33 billion, minus $12 billion in debt.
