What will you be able to eat at the Osaka Kansai Expo? We saw 'mixed juice made by a robot,' 'seaweed bento that can be eaten with one hand,' 'SPY×FAMILY,' and more at the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion

There is less than a month until the Osaka Kansai Expo, but many people probably feel that they don't know what they can actually do there. So, I attended a preview of the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion, one of the domestic pavilions. Inside the pavilion, there were several restaurants set up under the title 'Food and Culture of the Future,' so I've put together a list of what kind of food you can eat there.

Immediately to the left of the entrance to the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion is a food area titled 'Food and Culture of the Future.'

There is an 'AIR WATER NEO MIX STAND' at the entrance to the food area.

At AIR WATER NEO MIX STAND, you can drink mixed juice made with vegetables and fruits from Hokkaido. The reason they call it mixed juice is because Osaka is said to be the birthplace of mixed juice.

The mixed juice will be made by a robot.

I took a video of a robot making mixed juice.

'NISSEI Mouthful Creations'.
They sell soft serve ice cream that is free of dairy and eggs. The cones are made with rice flour instead of wheat flour. They offer five flavors: espresso, strawberry, vanilla, matcha, and Earl Grey.

This automatic plating machine can make 'vanilla,' 'strawberry,' and 'vanilla and strawberry mix.'

We took a video showing the process from choosing the type of soft serve ice cream using the fully automatic machine to receiving it.
'Metro KITCHEN' is characterized by its green and black color scheme.

The lunch boxes are made with ingredients from Osaka.

'PACKN-TO'.

The concept is 'one grain of rice for all,' and you can enjoy the 'Ultimate Salt Rice Ball' made with a focus on salt, as well as bento boxes made with carefully selected ingredients.

'Hokkahokka' is operated by Hakusley Co., Ltd., the company behind Hokkahokkatei.

The highlight of the store is the 'One-Handed BENTO,' a Wagyu beef bento or seaweed bento that can be picked up and eaten with one hand.

A sample looks like this. The 'One Hand Bento' with seaweed is 500 yen.

'Korean cuisine bibim'' where you can eat kimbap and hiyashi noodles. The person in charge was not there so I don't know the details.

There are also shops in collaboration with 'SPY×FAMILY'.

Drink cups and sake bottles were lined up on the counter.

You can eat 'Anya's Omelette Rice'. The Anya's Omelette Rice is also available as a set with a 'melamine plate with an Anya and Bond design'.

There are also dessert menu items such as 'Lloyd's Rice Koji Matcha Soft Serve' and 'Bond's Rice Koji Soft Serve.'

Each menu item comes with a random badge.

'QBB Kore Kore Ii Kitchen' has a larger floor space than other stores.

'QBB Kore Mo Ii Kitchen' serves vegan dishes, including 'Kore Mo Eggplant Bolognese,' 'Kore Mo Minced Meat Cutlet,' 'Kore Mo Spicy Cutlet,' and 'Kore Mo Teriyaki,' all made entirely from plant-based ingredients.

There is also a 'Milchy Parfait' instead of 'Milky'.

A takeaway menu is also available.

Here's what's inside. It contains two rare cheesecakes made with plant-based ingredients.

When the outer box is unfolded, it becomes almost rectangular, making it easy to recycle.

An article summarizing the exterior and interior of the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion will be published soon.
