A report on the 'human washing machine,' 'a machine that measures your body and automatically selects supplements,' and 'Monster Hunter experience content' exhibited at the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion at the Osaka Kansai Expo

The Osaka-Kansai Expo will be held from April 13, 2025 to October 13, 2025, and there is already less than a month until it opens. However, information about the contents of the Expo's exhibits is not widely known, and it remains unclear what will be shown. Therefore, I attended the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion preview held on March 23, 2025 to see what will be exhibited.

We arrived at the venue. The Osaka Healthcare Pavilion is located on the outside of the 'large roof ring.' The large roof ring is quite impressive when seen up close.

This is the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion.

It looks like this at night.

There is a machine issuing 'Reborn Bands' on the right side of the entrance to the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion. At the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion, the condition of your body is measured using a 'Body Measurement Pod,' and the results are stored in a Reborn Band for use in various exhibits.

To issue a Reborn Band, you must download the official app onto your smartphone and pre-register.

This is the Reborn Band.

Once you receive your Reborn Band, you will enter the body measurement pod.

The body measurement pod has a curtain to prevent people from seeing inside.

Here's what the inside looks like. Here, they measure the condition of seven areas, including cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, hair, and skin.

Once the measurement results are saved in your Reborn Band, board the 'Mirai Ride' and head to the second floor.

The Mirai ride was a large elevator with images of a flying bus displayed on the walls.

When we got off the Mirai ride, we were greeted by a row of exhibits that allowed us to imagine what our future selves would look like based on our physical information.

The open-air space between the first and second floors looks like this.

On the second floor, concepts for 'Healthcare of the Future' advocated by several companies are on display.

This is a device that combines physical information with a few simple questions to recommend the best supplements.

The touch panel will ask you questions such as 'How often do you eat vegetables?' and you answer them. The questions change depending on the results of your physical measurements. On the right is a remote assistant that will answer any questions you may have.

Once you answer the questions, the supplements will come out from the bottom of the machine.

This time, gummies containing GABA have been released.

There are many other exhibits. This is an exhibit where you can defeat bad bacteria in a virtual space. Wear a VR device and shout 'Bifidobacteria!' to attack the bad bacteria.

I discovered a fluffy, floating piece of fabric. This fabric is made from

ovoveil , a fiber derived from eggshell membrane, and is said to have the effect of improving the skin's barrier function.

I took a photo of the fabric I made with ovoveil floating softly. The wind was blowing from below, and the fabric changed shape as it floated.

Ovoveil itself was also on display. When I touched it, it had a moist texture that seemed to have high moisturizing properties.

When you go down to the first floor, you will see the 'Future Human Washing Machine' on prominent display.

The Mirai Ningen Washing Machine is a fully automatic machine that washes the body, with hot water pooling at the feet and a shower washing the upper body. In addition, relaxing content is played inside. In the article below, you can see the whole story of Governor Yoshimura Hirofumi of Osaka being washed by the Mirai Ningen Washing Machine.

There was also a space on the first floor that explained about iPS cells.

There will also be a food area titled 'Food and Culture of the Future.'

In the 'Food and Culture of the Future' area, you can buy things like 'mixed juice made by robots' and 'lunch boxes that you can eat with one hand.' Details of the 'Food and Culture of the Future' area are summarized in the following article.

At the back of the 'Food and Culture of the Future' area was Akakabe , a drugstore with many branches in Osaka. There are two Akakabe stores at the Osaka-Kansai Expo site.

In addition to a selection of common medications such as headache medicine, there are also many cooling products on sale.

This is an eye drop made in collaboration with Myakumyaku.

As I stepped outside the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion, I discovered monster footprints at my feet.

Following the footprints, we came across 'XD HALL,' where we could enjoy hands-on Monster Hunter content.

At XD HALL, the 'Monster Hunter Bridge' is on display, where you can immerse yourself in the world of Monster Hunter using AR devices and a 360-degree theater. The following article provides a detailed summary of what the Monster Hunter Bridge is like.
