It's a beautiful park that also has a zoo and an amusement park. Admission to parks, amusement parks, and museums is free.
When you enter through the main entrance, the zoo and amusement park are on the left, and the Coal Memorial Museum and Tokiwa Museum are on the right. The Spear of Longinus is in the direction of the museum, so turn right.
Basically, you can proceed in the direction of 'UBE BIENNARE' indicated by the red arrow at your feet. The tower belongs to the Coal Memorial Museum.
There are swans at Tokiwa Pond. This is a free-range swan from Ube, which was originally known for its black color (coal mine), so that it could be sold as a white color (swan).

During this time, a ceremony was held at the Tokiwa Museum's event hall to accept the donation of the Spear of Longinus from Hisao Yamane, president of Ube Steel Co., Ltd., which was in charge of its production, to Ube Mayor Keiji Shinozaki.
After the ceremony, Ube Steel officials also gathered around the spear.
Yasuhiro Kamimura, president of Groundworks Co., Ltd., which is in charge of copyright management of 'Eva,' Ube Mayor Keiji Shinozaki, and Ube Steel President Hisao Yamane were present.
At the opening ceremony, Mayor Shinozaki gave a speech that included references to Eva.
Next, President Kamimura and President Yamane gave greetings. According to President Yamane, the project began around July 2022 when a young employee said, ``I want to make the Spear of Longinus.'' The sales staff immediately began negotiations with Ube City, and it was decided that the project would be installed at Tokiwa Park.
