When I was walking through the FABEX Kansai 2023 venue, I saw an Evangelion vending machine on display that was the same as the one installed at Haneda Airport, so I took a lot of pictures of it. There was also a vending machine on display that dispenses protein mixed with water, so I took a detailed photo of the inside mechanism.

At the FABEX venue, I found an Ainas booth with a large number of vending machines lined up.

This is 'Evangelion vending machine'. The black, purple, and green coloring is reminiscent of Evangelion Unit 01.

Illustrations of Kaworu Nagisa and Shinji Ikari were drawn on the left side.

Asuka and Rei Ayanami are also depicted on the right side.

A large display was installed on the front, and the product image was displayed in a large size.

There is a mirror-like part to the right of the large display. An AI camera is installed behind this mirror, and it is said that it can determine the attributes of customers.

The demo monitor displayed how the AI camera was recognizing customers.

I found a protein vending machine at the same booth as the Evangelion vending machine. When drinking protein, you need to ``put protein powder and water in a shaker and shake it'', but this vending machine will provide you with a mixture of protein and water.

I was curious about how it worked, so I asked to see what was inside.

Protein powder is contained in a translucent container installed on the right side, and the powder is poured into the cup depending on the button pressed.

Then, it was stirred in the center and served after being thoroughly mixed.

Water is supplied from the tank at the bottom of the main unit. Therefore, it can be installed in places without water supply.

Next to the protein vending machine was a 'thickened soup vending machine'.

It is a system that allows you to choose whether or not the product is thick before selecting the product. According to the staff, this feature was developed for people who have difficulty swallowing drinks.

When I looked inside, there was a container containing thickening powder. Apparently, this powder is mixed into drinks before being served.
