You can also check each bodyguard's background on the app.
Protector also cited the incident on December 4, 2024, in which Brian Thompson, CEO of UnitedHealth, a major American health insurance company, was attacked and shot dead on the street, saying, 'If Protector had been reserved, such an incident could have been avoided.' In addition, it explains a scenario to prevent an attack on Mr. Thompson.

On December 6, 2024, founder Nick Salas said, 'We rely on law enforcement to keep us safe, but we can't always work with them. Protector is designed to support law enforcement's goal of 'protecting lives' and give people a way to protect themselves and their loved ones.' 'Our trained and experienced team is ready to provide enhanced security to all citizens as soon as we launch. We are working to support law enforcement and, ultimately, to protect you, the user.'
Protector will be available in Los Angeles and New York from February 18, 2025. Protector is already ranked third in the 'Travel' category on the US App Store.
