To use Protector, first tap 'Book Protectors' in the dedicated app 'Protector - Book Armed Agents .'

Specify the number of people you want to protect and the number of bodyguards.

Next, we select the bodyguard's uniform.

Specify the number of vehicles required for security.

Finally, specify the date, time and place to meet your bodyguard and you're done.

Once the booking is complete, you can meet the bodyguard at the designated location to receive protection services.

According to a spokesperson for Protector Security Solutions, which operates Protector, all of the bodyguards who work for Protector are either active or retired law enforcement or military personnel. On Protector's X (formerly Twitter) account, the bodyguards themselves talk about their military experiences and careers.

You can also check each bodyguard's background on the app.

Protector also cited the incident on December 4, 2024, in which Brian Thompson, CEO of UnitedHealth, a major American health insurance company, was attacked and shot dead on the street, saying, 'If Protector had been reserved, such an incident could have been avoided.' In addition, it explains a scenario to prevent an attack on Mr. Thompson.

On December 6, 2024, founder Nick Salas said, 'We rely on law enforcement to keep us safe, but we can't always work with them. Protector is designed to support law enforcement's goal of 'protecting lives' and give people a way to protect themselves and their loved ones.' 'Our trained and experienced team is ready to provide enhanced security to all citizens as soon as we launch. We are working to support law enforcement and, ultimately, to protect you, the user.'

Protector will be available in Los Angeles and New York from February 18, 2025. Protector is already ranked third in the 'Travel' category on the US App Store.
