Happy Turn 's Happy Powder, was released on December 30, 2024. I was curious about what the sweet and salty potato made with Happy Turn's powder would taste like, so I actually tried it.

So I immediately bought 'Shaka Shaka Potato Happy Turn Flavor' and Happy Turn. By paying an additional 40 yen including tax to McDonald's fries, you can purchase 'Shaka Shaka Potato Happy Turn Flavor' seasoning.



This time I bought a medium-sized bag of McDonald's French fries and seasoning. It also came with a paper bag for mixing the fries and seasoning.



So, first put the potatoes in a paper bag.



Sprinkle seasoning on potatoes.



It looks like this.



All that's left to do is close the paper bag and shake it.



Once the seasoning is evenly mixed, it's done.



Below is a comparison of regular McDonald's fries (left) and fries sprinkled with seasoning (right). You can see that the surface is firmly covered with Happy Turn's Happy Powder.



When I actually tried it, the taste was exactly like the image of McDonald's Happy Powder sprinkled on French fries. However, the Happy Powder seemed stronger when I tried the medium-sized McDonald's French fries, so it seemed stronger when I compared it to the Happy Turn. Also, perhaps because the McDonald's French fries were less salty, the result was a sweeter flavor.
