The Windows 365 Link device is a black rectangular fanless design with the Windows logo engraved on the top. It is 120mm x 120mm x 30mm in size, making it compact and lightweight enough to fit in the palm of your hand. There is a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB-A port on the front.
On the back there is a USB-C port, two USB-A ports, a DisplayPort port, an HDMI port, wired Ethernet, and a power connector.
In addition to USB, it is possible to connect to a webcam, keyboard, and mouse via Bluetooth 5.3.
Wireless connection supports Wi-Fi 6E.
To log in, you can use multi-factor authentication using your email address, as well as a FIDO2-compliant security key or cross-device passkey.
Since Windows 365 is a cloud-based PC, you can log in and continue working from where you left off.

Microsoft claims that it designed Windows 365 Link with security in mind from the ground up, with strict code integrity policies in place to ensure that only software that came with the device can run on it.
The Windows 365 Link preview is available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan, and customers must request participation in the preview program by December 15, 2024.
The Microsoft 65 Link is scheduled to be available for general sale in April 2025, priced at $349.
